"Hi Margaret, I just wanted to send you a quick e-mail to say thanks because you really inspired me.  I think that Everybody Has Something is a phenomenal book.  It's what kids need to see and hear.   You truly have a gift for working with children.  Thank You."

"I just wanted to let you know what a positive, wonderful impact your book (and Jack!) has had and is continuing to have. There are some days that Sean mentions Jack all throughout the day saying, "Jack PKU, Sean PKU".  The directors at Sean's wonderful day care center have been very concerned about the development  of one of Sean's classmates who does not talk very much. Well, when they got to the part in the book about not talking much, that little boy jumped up and said his name. They were totally amazed! (Sean later jumped up when Jack reappeared at the end of the book).  I also heard that another teacher is going to order a copy for her daughter, who has diabetes.

Best wishes, and thanks for writing such a wonderful book."

"I just received my copy of Everybody Has Something by Margaret Domnick. I love it! This is probably the best book I have ever seen that discusses differences in children. The photography is great too. I recommend this to everyone, and my son's first grade classroom will definitely be receiving a copy. Congratulations Margaret and thank you for such a wonderful book."

"I just bought a copy of your book. Our youngest daughter has cerebral palsy and we've been active in the field of disabilities for 35 years. Your book - with its wonderful pictures - is the best 'anti-prejudice' publication I've ever seen. No preaching, no appeals for sympathy, just a simple, subtle message for people of all ages. We are all unique individuals, and every one of us is 'special' in some way. Hope I'll get to meet you some day. Let me know when you're doing a presentation in this area. Best Wishes."

"Margaret, I am Dianne and I am a special education teacher. I have PKU myself too. All my kids at school deal with something different: ADD, hard of hearing, not being able to read, severe language problems, and a variety of other things. I am excited about this book, I always try to help them encourage each other too, as they all struggle at different times during the day. Thank you for writing this book!"

                                                                                                                             Dianne, Fresco, CA

"I just received the book and it is indeed well illustrated and written so simply that children (and adults) will love it. This book should be read to all children. What a great gift for a teacher."
